Like other countries in the world, our country celebrated the International Day with MS, represented by the Society of MS – Aden, as well as other associations that are celebrated in more than 52 countries in the world.
\nThis year, in particular on 24 May 2011, the Society of MS patients (Aden) held a ceremony on this day as an annual tradition that began last year, in the Ibn Sina Hall Faculty of Medicine, University of Aden in the presence of the Director General of the Public Health and Population Office. Al-Khader Sur, Mr. Fouad Al-Berihi, Director General of Awqaf and Guidance in the Governorate, and an official of the Civil Society Organization at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, a number of specialized doctors, students of the Faculty of Medicine, the sick, their families and media.
\nAt the ceremony, which started with a wise reminder, the President of the Society, Mr. Ghiab El-Ghalabi, welcomed the attendees at the outset of the meeting, referring to the march of the MS Society for a whole year since its founding and all the activities carried out by it. Work and its relationship to the disease, each according to his condition and ability, stressing the employers in taking into account the health situation of patients and overcome difficulties and create the right climate in order to improve the health and living situation and integrate them into society to be active members.
\nOne of the most important features of this event is the presentation of a number of working papers from a number of specialized doctors, the first of which is: Dr. Younis Taleb (Consultant Neurologist under the title of the disease and its treatment)
\nThe second paper presented by Dr. Salim Saleh Mohammed Almamari (Consultant Internal Medicine) under the title of work and its relationship with MS.
\nThe third paper, entitled “Diagnosis of CT scan” was organized by Dr. Ahmed Bahamil, a CT scan and magnetic resonance thereafter. The Office of Health and Population is always ready to provide as needed to MS patients.
\nHe also referred to the issue of working for patients this year and praised this pointing out that attention to this aspect alleviates the suffering of patients and the concerned authorities to develop treatments for it ..
\nAmong the event, the association contributed a modest charity dish during the ceremony, which is intended for the benefit of patients.
\nAt the end of the event a number of patients were honored:
\n* Dreams of Ali Saleh.
\n* Reign of Ali Otri.
\n* Nawal Mohamed Saad.
\n* Huda Musaed Mohammed.
\n* Weam Mohamed Ahmed.
\nConsequently, a number of members of the Society distributed brochures and awareness of MS in the Aden Mall compound wearing the logo and name of the association and the logo of the International Day of Multiple Sclerosis.
\nThe event was accompanied by media coverage of a number of media including the Aden satellite channel, which covered the news and programmed meetings, the 14 October newspaper, Akhbar Al Youm newspaper and the Yemeni News Agency.
\nThis activity has been characterized by positive interaction by many segments of the community. This was noted through discussions during the event as well as through material or moral support … wishing the patients healing and the MS patients more progress and success ..<\/p>\n
