And all present
Peace and mercy of God be upon you
We are meeting today under one roof to stand together hand in hand, in front of a scourge, not even a nightmare threatening the spring of our youth and the peak of our activity and our dreams. We say here: to end the sclerosis. “I will not add much to what has been said before me regarding the causes of this serious disease and what it takes from our lives Health and living, this disease not only deprives us from enjoying our physical beauty, but it also binds us with life restrictions that may not be enough for me to mention, but shortened by saying the following:

It is ”

My brothers present:
It is a pleasure to see this gathering on a day chosen to be a day to remind people to pay attention to those who are suffering from this real tragedy and put it in brackets “World AIDS Day”.

Today, 50 societies around the world are celebrating, and our association is one of them. Under the slogan “Ending Sclerosis,” a global movement organized by the International Federation of Sclerosis, this association has conducted a global survey on the impact of MS on employment The survey found that 125% of the participants had to stop working within three years of diagnosis. However, they declared that they were able to continue working if they had hours and conditions Work more flexible.

Therefore, the importance of such associations, which seek to provide the care of providing them with treatment and social welfare opportunities in terms of their jobs and grant them the right .. the right alternative to the appropriate .. Our Association “MS patients” in its main center Aden is one of these associations, which are still modern Established since 13 November 2009.

This association was established after the dream of me for years not as a patient suffering from this disease but as a person seeking to raise the suffering of others. It was a positive of this Assembly that, although the time period for the establishment of this Assembly is limited; however, the Assembly is taking steady steps towards the development of the activities of the Assembly, It started by attracting members, representing patients, their families and doctors from all specialties, and university students from all disciplines, intellectuals and interested people, as well as all groups of society, both insofar as they can provide the best for the society and to carry out its work to the fullest. Public and private, and the publication of publications on the development of community awareness of the disease.

Although this disease may not have the most conscious share among people, and perhaps the existence of prejudice, so some of them about the scarcity of cases, although the Assembly and the short duration but it was able to count and include a number of cases (20 cases) Aden governorate and some neighboring governorates. This indicates that more cases are likely, and in other parts of the country, perhaps most of these cases have not yet been diagnosed for lack of awareness of the culture of the disease and the cost of expensive diagnostic devices. Contributions to cover the activities of the association, which started as a contribution The Association’s activities are not limited to the local framework, but the association is in the process of strengthening its relations with other societies, which are concerned with the care of patients with MS In the Arab region .. These associations are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. We also inform you that there is a group of Arab doctors, professors and consultants in the process of establishing the “Arab Federation of Multiple Sclerosis” under study and preparation. At its headquarters / Aden, as the first association in Yemen in the directory of the International Federation of Sclerosis through the correspondence of the Association with the International Federation of the President of International Development, and the Assembly has set a set of goals and continues to achieve it is one of our priorities is to help patients with MS by providing the cost of treatment and And provide them with jobs that fit their circumstances .. Physical and financial support to the different facets and images of the disease from one case to another for those unable to work, and there are many goals, and remains our first goal to work a medical center for patients with MS in terms of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation and This is the dream that we strive to achieve, no matter how much we have to do. We stand by and appeal to His Excellency President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Ministry of Health and Population to ask them to help the society achieve its goals, Given the high cost of treatment as a first step in alleviating their suffering.
Last but not least I can not conclude my speech; I would like to thank all those who contributed to the commemoration of this humanitarian day, starting with members who, without their solidarity and efforts, would not have had an article. I thank them and the members of the Board of Directors and the medical staff of the Assembly and the other participants. The media and distinguished guests, and in particular the official sponsor of this day / Aden Refinery Company / represented by the Executive Director Dr. Najib Awaj in the success and establishment of this celebration.

I would also like to extend my thanks to the Health and Population Office, represented by Dr. Khader for photos.
