The MS Society of Aden participates in the celebration of World Day May 29, 2013 for the disease MS

On Tuesday, May 28, the MS Society of Aden organized a commemorative event at the College of Medicine in Makassar Incubation to celebrate the International MS Day, which will be held on the last Wednesday of May at the end of each year.
In the festive event, which was opened by a number of the wise male followed by Tawfiq al-Baribidi, and presented by media announcer Huda Khaled.

Mr. Jiyab Al-Ghalabi, Chairman of the MS Society in Aden, stressed that youth are the nation’s pillar and active focus in all areas of life. They are the real wealth that is inexhaustible over time. Their conscientious conscience entrenches in their minds their voluntary human role towards the burdensome groups in society. She desperately needs them. Al-Ghalabi added that we at the MS Society are looking forward to starting with the abilities of our creative youth in their voluntary participation and standing with us, and we hope that our youth will give the MS disease their care and attention wherever they find their thoughts and actions.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Salem Baazab, representative of the Public Health and Population Office in Aden, praised the World Day of the disease, which is celebrated by the regional and international community, praising the Society and its work towards MS patients. Baazab confirmed that the Health and Population Office is participating in this global event and is ready to assist the patients by raising instructions to the responsible authorities to broadcast them.

He called on all medical and governmental facilities to cooperate with patients and their associations, calling on all to interact with these actions and the need to involve all segments of them. In the awareness-raising event, the creative child Safia Jiyab Al-Ghalabi presented a poetic poem about this MS event, which was greeted warmly by everyone.

For his part, student Salah Al-Omari gave a brief presentation on youth and their role in this international event and their keenness to work with this tired group and help the patients and their participation in their suffering and their full standing alongside the Society and its patients.

In the same context, Dr. Mohammed Taher, a neurosurgeon, addressed a lecture on the causes and symptoms of MS and its implications. What is new about the MS disease, its diagnosis and new treatments for the ongoing scientific research of the disease, as well as its treatment of MS not only from the scientific side, but also from the social and humanitarian aspect of cooperation with patients and helping them to engage and co-exist within society.

On the other hand, activists wearing the emblems of the Assembly and the slogan of the International Day of MS distributed brochures and posters to raise awareness of the disease and to inform the attendees contains valuable knowledge and information about the disease “” ms.

Continuing to celebrate the International Day of MS patients, the association, in coordination with volunteer students and students at the Faculty of Medicine, organized a charity dish in the college yard, which was donated to the Society of MS patients in Aden.

The Association has honored a number of institutions and personalities in support of the Assembly certificates of appreciation, thanks to their standing alongside the Assembly and patients “MS” and also the Assembly honored a number of patients with modest symbolic amounts.
