Amendments to the Statute:
After extensive discussion by the attendees, the following was amended:
1) Membership fees are limited to 50 riyals paid only once.
2) The monthly subscription fee is set at 200 riyals per month.
3) The amendments to the articles below are as follows:
Article (4-1) is written as follows: – Provide the possibilities to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of the disease and after the end add the paragraph according to the possibilities available.
Article (4-8): The nature of multiple sclerosis, work on finding technical assistance for doctors, diagnosis … etc.
Article (5-1): The founders’ word shall be deleted and the general assembly shall be replaced and the word of the founders shall change in the Assembly Assembly wherever it may be.
Cancellation of material: (28) + (17) + (19).
The General Assembly shall be the supreme authority of the Assembly. Article (18) shall be amended in lieu of the Executive Director General who shall be the Chairman of the Administrative Board of the Assembly.
– In lieu of Article (19) in addition to the functions of the administrative body: The administrative body is entitled to appoint a commissioner in return for an employee to carry out the tasks specified in Article (17).
– A medical advisory body is formed of specialized doctors to assist the administrative body in carrying out its duties, especially in facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The attendees recognized the statute and adopted the observations about it as a model system.

– Decisions and recommendations of the meeting:
Foundational Society of MS patients: –
1) The participants approved the elected administrative body consisting of seven persons and a supervisory and inspection committee consisting of five members.
2) The attendees approved the articles of association of the Assembly.
3) The participants approved the formation of a medical advisory body to assist the administrative body in its functions, especially facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
4) The participants agreed that membership fees should be SR 50 paid only once.
5) The participants agreed that the monthly subscription should be SR 200 per member
6) Attendees recommend the elected administrative body to work and communicate with supporting bodies and organizations.
7) The attendees recommend that the administrative body strengthen the relationship with the Office of Social Affairs and Labor and with the local authority and medical authorities.
8) The attendees recommend to the administrative body to draw up the practical plans entrusted with carrying out the tasks of the association in real life.
9) The attendees recommend that the administrative body communicate continuously with the medical advisory board to serve the work of the association.
10) Attendees recommend the administrative body to follow up the work permits of the Assembly and print documents, records and other documents. 11) The attendees shall instruct the administrative body to abide by the approved status as a financial aspect and to adopt an integrated documentary role in accordance with the accounting system in force. 12) Attendees are charged with the establishment of an organized and integrated archiving and documentation archive.
13) To instruct the administrative body to work on the establishment of an electronic website of the association.
